Thanks for doing this. Would never take the time to look these highlights up myself. I like the off season for you, we get great content.

One comment on Turner, nice run but looked like he was not running away from the pack. Nitpicking a nice run, I know.

Also do you have any insight on Friday and why he went osu? Any late offers for a DT from a MAC school coming?

Thanks. I’m glad you liked it. I agree that TUrner’s not a real blazer; it also looked to me that he was kind of coasting, not expecting anyone to catch him.

Honestly, it sounds like Friday was convinced by Larry Johnson, OSU’s defensive line coach. I’ve mentioned him several times on the blog throughout the years, but Johnson is an outstanding speaker, recruiter, and coach. When he left Penn State several years ago, I was hoping Michigan would hire him. I think Michigan vs. OSU was a closer race than a lot of people thought all along.

I haven’t heard of any new offers coming, but those come out of the blue at this time of year. It would be odd if Michigan doesn’t add any defensive linemen.

As always thanks for the response. It appears Harbaugh is putting more emphasis on recruiting abilities of coaches. Maybe we can steal some down the road.
