ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2018

Baltimore (MD) St. Frances defensive end Eyabi Anoma was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 230 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Maryland, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #4 defensive end, and #81 overall. He’s a speed rusher who doesn’t quite look 6’5″ on film.

Owings (MD) Northern offensive tackle Jaelyn Duncan was offered by Michigan. He’s a 4-star, the #12 offensive tackle, and #123 overall. The 6’6″, 305-pounder has offers from Ohio State and Penn State, too. Duncan is an athletic left tackle prospect with a good motor.

Toledo (OH) St. John’s linebacker Dallas Gant was offered by Michigan. He’s a 4-star, the #5 outside linebacker, and #132 overall. Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and others have also offered. Gant is the cousin of former Michigan safety/linebacker Allen Gant and attends the alma mater of former Michigan lineman Jack Miller.

Manvel (TX) Manvel cornerback Trent Gordon was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 175-pounder with offers from Cal, Colorado, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, UCLA, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #38 cornerback, and #392 overall. Michigan has tried to get into Manvel in the past few years, but they haven’t had any success. Gordon made 81 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 10 pass breakups as a junior in 2016.

Snellville (GA) South Gwinnett defensive end Justin Mascoll was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 237 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 5-star, the #1 weakside end, and #19 overall, and he’s already been selected for the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. As a junior in 2016, he made 68 tackles and 8 sacks.

Owasso (OK) Owasso safety Josh Proctor was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 186 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 safety, and #71 overall. He’s an athletic, rangy safety who looks like he could reasonably be rated even higher than #71 overall.

Erie (PA) Cathedral offensive guard Fredrick “Juice” Scruggs was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 270 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Ohio State, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 offensive guard, and #192 overall.

Cleveland (OH) Heights defensive end Tyreke Smith was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 263 lb. prospect with offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 weakside end, and #175 overall. He claims a 4.7 forty. His teammate, wide receiver Jaylen Harris, signed with Ohio State in the 2017 class.

    Juicy Scruggs is a beast and a great kid….. I hope Jim can get him on board. Cathedral prep does put out some talent, MSU nabbed Damion Terry and Delton Williams from Prep. Prep is also where Bob Sanders came from years back.
