Stats: N/A
Strengths: Athletic frame…Very little bad weight…Quick feet with nice lateral agility…Plays with good body lean in run game…Stays balanced in kick set
Weaknesses: Lacks ideal height and length to play tackle…Feet get too narrow when drive blocking…Holds too much…Somewhat inconsistent with stance…Needs to improve initial punch in pass protection
Overall: Buford has some very good athletic skills, but he’s raw in some areas. He has good feet in pass protection, but he needs to improve his hands. He has good athleticism in the run game, but he doesn’t keep a wide base. In addition to needing to add some good weight and strength, Buford looks like he’s a couple years away from contributing in college. Despite being listed as a tackle, I think he would make a good center or could play guard at the FBS level.

When I read “Holds too much” I thought of Nolan Rumler.
I think when O linemen get an offer from Michigan they don’t see the word ‘Michigan’, they see the two words ‘Ed Warinner’.
