September 22, 2015

Dennis Norfleet (#18)

Former quarterback Russell Bellomy:
Bellomy was 1/4 for 3 yards, and he ran 2 times for 2 yards in the University of Texas-San Antonio’s 69-14 loss to Oklahoma State.

Former cornerback commit Gareon Conley: Conley had 1 pass breakup in Ohio State’s too-close 20-13 victory over Northern Illinois.

Former cornerback Blake Countess: Countess had 4 tackles and 1 pass breakup, but the Auburn Tigers got trounced by the LSU Tigers, 45-21. Countess was the unfortunate recipient of a Leonard Fournette trucking, too.

Hit the jump for numerous other updates on former Wolverines.

Former cornerback commit Dallas Crawford: Crawford had 3 tackles in Miami’s 36-33 overtime win over Nebraska.
Former running back commit Damien Harris: Harris did not play in Alabama’s 43-37 loss to Ole Miss.
Former running back Justice Hayes: Hayes had 4 carries for 11 yards in Southern Miss’s 56-50 win over Texas State.
Former tight end/defensive end Keith Heitzman: Heitzman is having a decent season for 3-0 Ohio. In a 35-14 win over Southeastern Louisiana, he had 3 catches for 76 yards. That gives him 9 catches for 118 yards and 1 touchdown on the season.
Former linebacker commit Antonio Kinard: Kinard had 3 tackles in Cincinnati’s 37-33 win over Miami-OH.
Former linebacker commit Darrin Kirkland, Jr.: Kirkland made 4 tackles in Tennessee’s 55-10 win over Western Carolina.
Former running back/wide receiver Dennis Norfleet: Norfleet scored a touchdown! Sort of, anyway. He threw a 24-yard pass for a touchdown on his only passing attempt. He also had 8 carries for 45 yards, 1 catch for 11 yards, 4 punt returns for 33 yards, and 2 kickoff returns for 57 yards.
Former linebacker Kaleb Ringer: Ringer made 5 tackles and 1 tackle for loss in Georgia State’s 61-28 loss to Oregon.

Former head coach Rich Rodriguez: Rodriguez and his Arizona Wildcats beat Northern Arizona by a score of 77-13. Running back Nick Wilson had 19 carries for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, but he was topped by backup quarterback Jerrard Randall. Randall has 72- and 73-yard touchdown runs, giving him 3 rushing attempts for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns. Overall, Arizona ran for 499 yards and 7 touchdowns, and they passed for 293 yards and 4 more scores. That’s a total of 792 yards and 11 touchdowns. Arizona is 3-0.

Former cornerback commit Adrian Witty: Witty had 2 tackles and 2 pass breakups in Cincinnati’s 37-33 victory over Miami-OH.
