    Not buying this one either.

Among the very good reasons the Big 12 looks the way it does, and probably right up there at the top, is the proliferation of 7 v 7 offseason passing leagues and tournaments the entire length and width of Texas and probably Oklahoma. Not to mention the 6 v 6 high school football leagues played by small town, chartered and home schooled kids. Skill players get way double beau coup training and reps in the passing game effectively 11 months of the year. It’s a pass happy state.

Actually, this is probably true throughout the entire south and west.

Then go out and find your QB/FB hybrid. That happens maybe 2 or 3 times in ten years.

Dude is off his rocker for multiple reasons. A team here or there may take a crack at bringing back the wishbone, but it won’t be taking over the big 12 any time soon.
