Matt Doherty, who was hired a year ago as Michigan’s recruiting coordinator, has been re-hired by the Miami Hurricanes. Michigan had three staff members last year whose main jobs were as recruiters. Doherty is headed back to Miami, Chris Partridge got hired as Michigan’s linebackers coach, and Erik Campbell left to coach the wide receivers at UConn.
Doherty, Partridge, and Campbell did a great job recruiting for Michigan, so hopefully their replacements can do just as well. Devin Bush, Jr. was thought to be a possible replacement for Partridge, but Bush accepted a job as a defensive analyst for Michigan instead.
