Michigan hasn’t had a consistent running game since Denard Robinson was in Ann Arbor. The current running backs can’t make anyone miss and can’t outrun anyone. They miss the open holes that are there, and the offensive line doesn’t open enough of them. It’s been too many years since Michigan had a dynamic running back, while teams like Ohio State (Beanie Wells, Carlos Hyde, Ezekiel Elliott) seem to churn them out every year.
