Ohio State dismissed senior running back Bri’onte Dunn for an undisclosed violation of team rules. He was expected to be a backup this season, but with the degree he received in May, he would now be eligible to play as a grad transfer this year. If you remember, he was part of a hotly contested recruiting battle between OSU and Michigan.
Yeah, Dunn was supposed to be a backup. That’s why some people are looking at this sideways and thinking that maybe Meyer is just pushing a guy out the door for a minor violation to clear space.
