Solon (OH) Solon linebacker Matt Brown committed to Michigan as a preferred walk-on. He’s turning down a Quinnipiac lacrosse scholarship to be a preferred walk-on for the Wolverines. At 6’0″, 220 lbs. he will probably be an inside linebacker or perhaps a fullback.
Perfect size to develop into a FB. Kind of crazy for a preferred walk-on, but he just might be the favorite to start in 2018. Of course there is a LOOOONG way to go to say that with any confidence. Position changes are likely, etc. Just saying…
