Is there a reason this site has practically dried up? Information and post have greatly diminished over the past year

If you’re talking about TTB, there are new posts almost daily.

As for less information, there are some things that have been cut back. It’s football season for me. There’s not a whole lot of time to write.

    Two questions:

    1. Who is the extra lineman who comes in wearing the #97 jersey without a last name printed above the number?

    2. Because JH likes employing deception, why doesn;t the offense huddle on the sideline before the first play of each possession? This would allow them to go right to their positions without tipping to the defense what personnel package they are using.

Close – #97 is Stephen Spanellis.

As for question #2, I think it’s a continuity thing. Players are used to breaking the huddle, turning, and running a few yards to the line of scrimmage. They’re not used to huddling on the sideline and running 20-40 yards across the field, waiting for the whistle, etc. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but it breaks the routine a little bit.
