MLive: Charlton soars up draft board, Peppers still top 10

Taco Charlton and Jabrill Peppers might both be first round picks for Michigan in this year’s draft (LINK).

Hit the jump for some very good looking ladies, along with a dancing baseball cheerleader.

    On it. Yeah Peppers might go 1st round BUT lets turn this into a ‘Does Jabrill come back to Michigan?’ thread………..

    I’m leaning right now to about 60% chance he returns for another year:
    far & away most guys declare within a few days of their last game and its been a full week and a half and mums the word.

    Also, he’s on record about having ‘unfinished business’: no division championship, no Big ten Championship games, never beaten the buckeyes, never played in a bowl games – these are all the reasons you play at Michigan and he’s experienced none of it.

    Also, when he’s been asked about the NFL money; if he were to be injured, his response [paraphrase] ‘I’m insured, I got insurance to cover all that.’ So even he’s on record of defending his reasoning for thinking about staying and not choosing the NFL.

    Plus NFL careers are on average short anyway and the NFL will be there for him next year as well.

    AND when you’re older and you look back on your life & experiences – do you want regrets about giving up on the dreams & experiences of your college playing youth that were all right there for you to give your best shot at but you chose to go a different direction?

    The NFL will still be there next year and he’s insured; so will the money; 2017 at Michigan is priceless and becomes more valuable the older you get……….

    ain’t sayin; I’m just sayin’
    IMHO;
    Thanx…………….INTJohn

    Peppers seems to be trending down in the mock drafts – I saw one recently in which he was projected to go as low as 17th… weeks ago he was as high as 4th. Hoping he does come back to finish business.

    BTW, I may have to head to the Dominican Republic for baseball season – looks to be a fair amount of talent in the area!

      Peppers looks like a 7th rounder to me. He needs to come back for seasoning.

      Have fun in the Dominican Republic. Take lots of pictures.

        Would be going for professional reasons – scouting purposes only, of course.
