MLive: Drevno to resume play-calling duties from sideline

October 31, 2017

As of last week – and for the foreseeable future – Tim Drevno is working from the sideline during games (LINK).

Hit the jump for some beautiful ladies.

The offensive play calling resulting from this amalgam of coordinators has been less than inspiring this year. Please define roles.

I would like to see position specific coaches like OL and DL on the sidelines. Perhaps whoever has worked most closely with Peters should be available to him on the field as well.

Certain of coordinators, or GAs, or analysts may benefit with an overview from above. I am reminded of the comments made by many who see the game from an above the field perspective that see separation and route running etc. in real time.

Seems logical for the OL coach to be on the ground and the pass game coach to be in the skybox. I wonder what prompted Drevno to move upstairs in the first place, especially with a couple young starters in the mix. Maybe he thought Cole and Kugler and Bredeson as a returning starter would be better sooner.
