From the articles I’ve read I was excited the Lions got rid of Prince. Was ineffective and not well liked by players. Now we have to put up with this Caldwell disciple at UM? At least he doesn’t get to recruit!

Is it just me, of did Jim Caldwell always have a blank look in his face, both in Indy and Detroit?

From reading his history, it looks like he is fired everywhere he goes. No team improved with him, only got worse. I hope this hire isn’t poison. I had been very impressed with every coaching move Jim Harbaugh had been making–up until this one. It seems there had to be some successful offensive coach somewhere in the NCAA that would have jumped at a job in Ann Arbor.

Well, I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.

It’s an analyst position. Truthfully, if you’re a hot coaching commodity, you’re not working as an analyst in college football – you’re coaching. This won’t be an on-field position. He will just be providing breakdowns and feedback to the coaching staff.
