MLive: Michigan’s backup QB situation still unclear after Rutgers

After Shea Patterson left the game in the blowout, Brandon Peters came in briefly . . . and then ceded snaps to Joe Milton (LINK).

Hit the jump for some girls in bikinis.

I thought it was weird to play both, especially since neither passed. Very weird

Is it possible this is part of some weird plan to keep Ohio State in the dark as much as possible prior to that game?

That would only make sense if Patterson was hurt and we knew he wasn’t going to play against OSU. As it stands, the Buckeyes are not going to spend any time preparing for our backup QB.

I don’t think our coaching staff has much confidence in Peters to throw successfully in a big game. If it does come down to that worst case scenario, they will probably want the option of a QB who can run.

Its testament to this team that discussions are about the backup QB’s vs the lack of play by the starter as has been the case for much of the last 10 years.
I think if it comes down to burning Milton’s redshirt, etc re The Game; its a no brainer.
This is an ‘all in’ year for Harbaugh – he has to beat OSU and at least get a Div title; what happens with the so-called playoffs is secondary if not tertiary. I read someplace that OSU beating Sparty was good for Michigan – BULL! If MSU would have beat OSU; Michigan could have clinched the B10 East this Saturday against Indiana making OSU what they should be – meaningless!

Anyway this season will be an exciting finish.
