I remember very well 3 years ago, how there was lots of talk that Jake Browning was the best QB in college. He signed a very good deal with Minnesota, as a UDFA. It seems strange he wasn’t drafted.

He had a great sophomore season in 2016, and then he fizzled out, for some reason. I suspect he may have benefitted more than it seemed from an especially good supporting cast that year. Not sure why he’s listed as an underclassman here, though. He played four full seasons, 2015-2018.
