COMMITMENT

Caden Kolesar – S – Lakewood (OH) St. Edward: Kolesar committed to Michigan (LINK).

DECOMMITMENT

Daxton Hill – S – Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington: Hill flipped his commitment from Michigan to Alabama (LINK).

Hit the jump for several guys who went off the board, along with some miscellaneous tidbits.

OFF THE BOARD

Parker Ball – C – Douglasville (GA) Douglas County: Ball, who is listed at 6’4″ and 265 lbs., is going to play baseball and football at Tennessee.

Nicholas Barr-Mira – K – Los Angeles (CA) Loyola: Barr-Mira committed to UCLA shortly after earning his offer from Michigan. He attends the alma mater of Michigan cornerback David Long, Jr.

Khafre Brown – WR – Charlotte (NC) West Mecklenburg: Brown committed to play in the Air Raid for Mack Brown at North Carolina. Michigan was in his top four at one point.

Daniel Carter – RB – Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas: Carter committed to play for the Pitt Panthers. He’s now the Panthers’ highest rated player at #500 overall.

Tommy Eichenberg – LB – Cleveland (OH) St. Ignatius: Eichenberg, a former Boston College pledge, committed to the home-state Buckeyes.

Ty Evans – QB – Monument (CO) Palmer Ridge: Evans, in a bold move, flipped his commitment from the Colorado Buffaloes to the North Carolina State Wolfpack. It’s not often that a player spurns his home state to go across the country, especially for another mediocre program. It would be one thing to flip to Clemson or Alabama or some other powerhouse, but N.C. State is . . . not Alabama.

MISCELLANEY

Crystal Lake (IL) South offensive tackle Trevor Keegan is announcing his commitment tonight at 7:30 p.m. CST/6:30 p.m. EST. He’s a 4-star, the #17 offensive tackle, and #163 overall. Georgia, Michigan, and Penn State are the final three, but Michigan looks like the front-runner.

Greenwich (CT) Brunswick wide receiver Cornelius Johnson is going to announce his commitment on December 19. He’s a 4-star, the #39 wide receiver, and #256 overall. His top five schools are Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Stanford.

Canton (MI) Canton tight end Darius Robinson named a top four of Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, and Missouri. He’s a 3-star, the #50 strongside end, and #676 overall. It appears that Michigan is playing from behind in this case, and he has not (publicly) made plans to visit Ann Arbor.

Here’s a list of players visiting Michigan this week (LINK). And in case you missed it, here’s last weekend’s list (LINK).

Sounds like Hill might be back in the fold unofficially. Backflips for all.

I don’t expect it would affect Kolesar.

Mention of possible transfer of Solomon and Black on MGOBLOG. Does this have legs? Anyone hear this?
