ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2016
Waterford (MI) Mott wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick decommitted from Louisville. Fitzpatrick, who holds a Michigan offer and is a former teammate of linebacker commit David Reese, is expected to commit to Nebraska at this point. At one time he was considered likely to flip to Michigan, but the staff seemed to cool on him. He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #53 wide receiver, and #272 overall.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2017
Cincinnati (OH) St. Xavier offensive guard Matt Bockhorst was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 290 lb. prospect with offers from Clemson, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #7 offensive guard, and #293 overall. He is thought to be pretty open at this point in his recruiting process. Bockhorst is a thickly built kid who will probably end up playing on the interior due to a lack of foot quickness.

Hit the jump for a few more 2017 prospects, a new 2018 offer, some guys who went off the board, some random bits, and the visitor list for the OSU game.

Baltimore (MD) Gilman quarterback Kasim Hill was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 220 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State, and Syracuse, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #18 pro-style quarterback, and #352 overall. Hill attends the alma mater of Michigan fullback/defensive end Henry Poggi, where the coach is Henry’s father, Biff. It’s also the home of 2016 offensive tackles Devery Hamilton (Michigan) and Stephen Spanellis (Virginia). Hill is a decent athlete, although his athleticism does not stand out on his sophomore film. But he is a tough runner who is not afraid to lower his shoulder when he scrambles.

Chapin (SC) Chapin tight end Will Register, a South Carolina commit, was offered by Michigan. Register is a 6’4″, 241 lb. prospect who also has offers from Charlotte and Clemson. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #14 tight end, and #393 overall. Register seems pretty solid in his commitment, but with the Gamecocks’ questionable coaching situation after Steve Spurrier resigned, there could be some wiggle room.

Murfreesboro (TN) Oakland wide receiver JaCoby Stevens decommitted from LSU. Stevens is a 6’2″, 200 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #3 athlete, and #46 overall. He was not strongly considering the Wolverines before he pledged to the Tigers, but it appears as if he will go back to the drawing board a little bit after rumors have started to swirl about Les Miles’s job security.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2018
Missouri City (TX) Ridge Point tight end Mustapha Muhammad was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 225 lb. prospect with offers from Baylor, Houston, and Texas A&M. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #5 tight end, and #71 overall. Muhammad is an athletic, receiver-type of tight end who needs to bulk up and get stronger, though that’s expected for a kid in his sophomore year of high school.

OFF THE BOARD
Sachse (TX) Sachse wide receiver Devin Duvernay committed to Baylor. Devin is the twin brother of Donovan Duvernay, a cornerback who committed to the Golden Bears two months ago. Both are teammates of cornerback Jared Mayden (Oregon), who visited Michigan earlier this year.

Chesapeake (VA) Grassfield wide receiver Grant Holloway committed to Florida. He was not considering Michigan.

MISCELLANEOUS
Harbor City (CA) Narbonne offensive tackle Alex Akingbulu will announce his commitment tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day. Akingbulu is a very athletic tackle that Michigan was recruiting hard early, but a visit never materialized. His top three are Cal, UCLA, and Utah, and the smart guess is UCLA.

Detroit (MI) King wide receiver Donnie Corley will announce his commitment on December 8. His leader is thought to be Michigan State with teams like Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Tennessee on the outside looking in.

Euless (TX) Trinity defensive tackle Chris Daniels will announce his commitment on December 18. Originally from the state of Michigan, he is thought to be deciding between Michigan and Oklahoma. He has taken official visits to both places.

I posted a monster list of visitors for this Saturday’s game against Ohio State (LINK) with info bits about each player.
