ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2017

Flower Mound (TX) Marcus cornerback Matt Hankins, an Iowa commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 158 lb. prospect with offers from Colorado, Houston, Missouri, and Texas Tech, among others. He committed to the Hawkeyes in June of 2016 and is a 247 Composite 3-star, the #87 cornerback, and #856 overall. He has a 4.34 shuttle and a 35″ vertical.

Cheshire (CT) Cheshire Academy cornerback Brandon Sebastian, a Boston College commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 185 lb. prospect with offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, and UConn, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #139 cornerback, and #1318 overall. Sebastian committed to the Eagles in April of 2016, but he’s a teammate of 2017 wide receiver Tarik Black, whom Michigan is recruiting pretty yard, and that may have been the impetus for the offer. On his Hudl page, he claims a 4.32 forty, a 3.89 shuttle, a 10.65 in the 100 meters, and a 39″ vertical. Those numbers sound great, but they also seem exaggerated.

Hit the jump for some 2018 and 2019 news, as well.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2018

Birmingham (AL) Jackson-Olin defensive tackle Coynis Miller, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 270 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, and Florida, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #43 defensive tackle, and #490 overall.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Los Angeles (CA) Dorsey running back Charles Mincy, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’9″, 176 lb. prospect with one other offer from Nevada. His father is former Washington and NFL safety Charles Mincy, who played with the Chiefs, Vikings, Buccaneers, and Raiders from 1991-1999.

Los Angeles (CA) Dorsey defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 235 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona, Miami, Tennessee, UCLA, and USC, among others. 247 Sports currently has him listed as the #1 player in the country for 2019.

OFF THE BOARD

Beaver Falls (PA) Beaver Falls defensive tackle Donovan Jeter committed to Notre Dame. After interest waned a bit between Jeter and Michigan, Jeter tweeted recently that he was once again strongly interested in Wolverines. About two weeks later, he committed to the Fighting Irish.
