What am I watching? I’ve been binge-watching Banshee on Prime Video. I started a few months ago when I had some time and saw the first three episodes, but then the holidays hit, and time vanished. It originally aired on Cinemax and ran for four seasons. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s about an ex-con who escapes and then cons his way into becoming the sheriff of a fictional town in Pennsylvania called Banshee. It’s a good mix of violence and sex.
What am I googling? I have been looking up different ways to block inside and outside zone. We tried some inside zone stuff but we weren’t as good at it as we had hoped, so I’m looking at different ways to block it, different RPOs to run off of it, different motions, different formations, etc.
What am I looking forward to? I’m looking forward to what everyone should be looking forward to this weekend: Super Bowl LIII, the Patriots vs. the Rams. I’m not a fan of Super Bowl parties, because I actually like to watch the game rather than be distracted by conversations. Usually I make Buffalo Chicken Dip for the Super Bowl, but this year I want to try something else for a change. I’m not sure yet what I’m going to make, but usually it’s just one big thing since, you know, the no party thing.

Make pulled pork in the crock pot AND make your Buffalo chicken dip.
Grill a bun and heap with pulled pork with the Buffalo chicken dip on top.
The sweet and spicy combo are amazing.

The worst thing about the NFL is the presentation – insufferably gauche culture and commercialism pervade everything.
The best thing about the NFL is the high-caliber performance, intensity,and finality of the playoffs.
The super bowl is a combination of both the best and worse. I’d rather watch a UM game vs a cupcake.

In my opinion: The best thing about the NFL is the high-caliber athletic performance and intensity and finality of the playoffs. The worst thing about the NFL is the gauche culture around it – the commercialism, the insipid commentary and over-the-top hype. The super bowl combines the best of the best and the worst of the worst.
In balance, it’s something I can take or leave. Some years I’m watching passively while socializing, others I’m tuned out entirely, but in recent years I’ve tuned in for the 2nd half if it’s a close game.
Under no circumstances am I watching the pre-game nonsense. Well, maybe if the Lions played… but I don’t have to worry about that now do I.

OK I’ll talk about football – well NFL football instead of foodball; but only because MBB is currently getting their asses kikt by Iowa………hopefully they come back in the 2nd half.
Yes, I’ll tune in to the Super Fraud but only primarily because of , yes! Patriots Brady Belichick, every1 gets it. But my post is more a bitch about the NFL higher ups (Goodall & Co.)who self righteously proclaim their interest in maintaining the ‘integrity of the game’ – hence their justification of a 4 game/25% season suspension of Brady for ‘deflate gate/ cell fone deletions while year in and year out allowing shoddy officiating to determine playoff games outcomes that have a basis in ??? whatso ever. We all have seen these games – this year and past years.
Its BULLSHIT! The NFL is a fraudulent league based on Goodell / Owner crap putting a completely inferior product in the Super bowl based on ?? (Has to be big corporation $$$$ – what level I can only speculate)
There is no Integrity in the NFL re from the ‘higher ups’ and I am so tired, bored, apathetic with Self rightous Trump like narcisstic demagogues like Goodall who hide behind Moral Idealstic verbage like “Integrity of The Game” while continuing to allow completely shoddy & fraudulent officiating for, again, ????? Year after year after year. There is No Integrity in the game and goodell is propagation of it; obviously with team owners acquiescence.
The NFL needs to be called for what it is – Nefariously Fraudulent League !!
