2. I know he has a low completion %. Is that because he’s inaccurate or his high school teammates can’t catch it because he’s throws too hard?
He seems athletic enough but definitely NOT anything but a QB. Some others said he could be something else, I have to disagree. He’s not that athletic.
If his passes are being dropped, I get it, but his completion % is so low that it makes me think he doesn’t have “touch” and is more like Shane Morris or Mike McMahon (Lions comparison!!). I don’t buy mechanics can fix that. You either have it or don’t. Mechanics can help but won’t likely be solved. I’m just glad they’re taking 2 QB’s this cycle because I fear his floor is low. But the arm… WOW.

Even the really excellent QBs often complete about 50% of their passes for a variety of reasons (poor coaching, poor schemes, sloppy fields, receivers not running good routes, receivers dropping balls, etc.).

His receivers help out a bunch with the total yards. They are pretty shifty in the open field.
