I’m no expert in QB mechanics, but did it seem like he was side-arming the ball a bit? Also, he seems to take some time to wind up and throw. Are those things that can be worked out of a young QB?
He has a pretty quick release when he feels like it needs to get gone. He gets it out of his hand rather than trying to gun it past people. He doesn’t have the canon that Milton has, so I’m thinking he doesn’t feel like he can gun it past people. He can certainly power it downfield and has some touch on long balls. I didn’t even consider how he slots his arm, but I didn’t notice a glaring thing there either.
I think he’s a real nice prospect in a two QB year with two pretty big time specimens sitting there in front of him. Actually, he sort of makes me think of Conner Cook.
Been a long time since I’ve seen anybody take a hit like this kid takes in the first minute of this vid and then get up.
I noticed that he subsequently bought into the good sense concepts of sliding and getting his butt out of bounds.
Throws a pretty nice, accurate deep ball, not wonderfully athletic.

Sometimes, other times you get Tim Tebow.
