Donovan Peoples-Jones declares for the NFL Draft

Rising senior wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones declared for the NFL Draft on Friday afternoon.

Peoples-Jones is listed at 6’2″ and 208 lbs. on the 2019 roster. He reportedly ran a 40 time in the 4.4s coming out of high school. He was a 5-star, the #1 wide receiver, and #12 overall in the 2017 class, ranking as Michigan’s sixth-highest ranked recruit in the modern recruiting era (LINK).

Stephen Spanellis, Ex-Wolverine

Interior offensive lineman Stephen Spanellis announced after the Citrus Bowl that he would be transferring. He just finished his fourth year at Michigan, so he will have just one year remaining.

Tarik Black, Ex-Wolverine

Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Tarik Black has entered the transfer portal. Depending on whether or not he graduates by the time he departs, he may or may not need to sit out a year in order to play.

Linebacker Jordan Anthony has entered the transfer portal. Anthony just finished his third season in Ann Arbor.

J’Marick Woods, Ex-Wolverine

Junior safety J’Marick Woods has entered the transfer portal. He’s listed at 6’3″, 203 lbs. and has played in four games so far this season.

Woods signed with Michigan in the class of 2017, and I gave him a TTB Rating of 78 (LINK). He made 26 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss while playing over parts of three seasons, including one start in the Outback Bowl following the 2017 season.
