Thanks to Peter for the generous Paypal donation last week! That was a very pleasant surprise.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Clayton (OH) Northmont defensive end Gabe Newburg was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 230-pounder with offers from Cincinnati, Michigan State, Rutgers, and some MAC programs. He’s a 3-star, the #53 weakside end, and #798 overall. Newburg visited Michigan two weekends ago and was offered on the visit. Northmont is the alma mater of former Michigan linebacker Kaleb Ringer, who transferred to Georgia State. After the offer, a bunch of Crystal Ball picks came in for Newburg to Michigan, now up to 100% (13 total picks).

Columbus (OH) St. Francis DeSales safety Joey Velazquez was offered by Michigan. The 6’0″, 205-pounder is committed to Ohio State for baseball, and he is unranked as a football prospect at this point. He claims a 4.54 forty, a 4.1 shuttle, a 390 lb. bench press, and a 570 lb. squat. He’s a good all around athlete who could project to strong safety or Viper at Michigan.

St. Louis (MO) St. John Vianney wide receiver Kyren Williams was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10, 200 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #44 running back, and #551 overall. Williams has a compact, stout build that could see him play running back or slot receiver at the next level.

2019 Recruiting Update: December 18, 2017

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Houston (TX) DeKaney cornerback Marcus Banks was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M. He had 28 tackles and 8 tackles for loss as a junior in 2017, but he is expected to commit to the in-state Longhorns.

Dallas (TX) Bishop Dunne wide receiver/cornerback Marquez Beason was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 173 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 athlete, and #84 overall. A standout on both sides of the ball, he wants to play defensive in college, and that appears to be where Michigan wants him, too.

Lawrenceville (GA) Archer cornerback Andrew Booth, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #5 cornerback, and #88 overall. Michigan is sending out a bunch of offers to cornerbacks in the 2019 class, which makes sense because Lavert Hill and David Long will have finished their junior years, and they could be candidates to leave early for the NFL. Booth made 46 tackles and 7 interceptions as a sophomore in 2016.

Hit the jump for a bunch of other new offers that have gone out over the past several weeks.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2018

Los Angeles (CA) Hawkins safety Aashari Crosswell was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’1″, 185 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and USC, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #10 safety, and #103 overall. He camped at Michigan last week. He’s a teammate of 2018 wide receiver Jalen Hall and 2017 wide receiver Joseph Lewis, along with several other Michigan targets.

Knoxville (TN) Catholic offensive tackle Cade Mays, a Tennessee commit, was offered by Michigan a while ago but didn’t report it initially. He’s a Tennessee legacy who has been committed to the Volunteers since July of 2015. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #3 offensive tackle, and #29 overall, and already committed to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Hit the jump for some other new offers and a few guys who committed elsewhere.
