Last Monday I posted the top performers under Jim Harbaugh on Michigan’s offense (LINK).

DEFENSIVE END: 2016 Taco Charlton
Charlton’s performance in 2016 is underrated by some, even though it resulted in the highest sack total since Brandon Graham matched it with 10.0 in 2008. Charlton finished the season with 43 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 2 pass breakups, and 8 quarterback hurries. He was taken in the 1st round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Class of 2014: By the Numbers

Jabrill Peppers

SITE NEWS UPDATE: Last week I asked for help paying the $1,250 Flywheel hosting fee (LINK), and you guys donated $1,066.77. Thanks to Luis and Mark for the most recent donations! This is the last time I’ll explicitly bring this up before moving on because I’m appreciative of all the generosity so far, but if you want to help cover the last $150 or so, it would also be appreciated.

I recently did a summary of the 2015 class that was an interesting look back at their five years on campus (LINK). The class of 2014 was Brady Hoke’s final complete class before he was fired, so here’s a look at how that group fared over five years. Michigan landed 17 players in the pack, which ranked 20th in the country according to the 247 Composite.

Hit the jump for the rundown.

Former Michigan Athlete of the Week: Chris Wormley

Chris Wormley (image via Baltimore Beatdown)

Former Michigan defensive tackle Chris Wormley doesn’t get mentioned in this space very often, but he had one of his best career games on Sunday with 4 tackles and 1 sack in a 49-13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Wormley and the Bengals are now 7-2.

HONORABLE MENTION

  • Devin Bush, Jr., LB (Pittsburgh Steelers): Bush made 3 tackles in a 17-12 win over the St. Louis Rams.
  • Frank Clark, DE (Kansas City Chiefs): Clark made 4 tackles and 1 sack in a 35-32 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
  • Mason Cole, OL (Arizona Cardinals): Cole started at right tackle in a 30-27 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cole has now started at left guard, center, and right tackle in his career.
  • Maurice Hurst, Jr., DT (Oakland Raiders): Hurst made 2 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in a 26-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
  • Jabrill Peppers, S (New York Giants): Peppers made 6 tackles and 1 pass breakup in a 34-27 loss to the New York Jets.
