Ex-Wolverine Updates: 2017, Week 10

TRANSFERS

Ross Douglas, LB (Rutgers): Douglas made 4 tackles in a 31-24 win over Maryland.

Ahmir Mitchell, WR (Rutgers): Mitchell, who had been sitting out due to an ACL tear, was dismissed from the team in late October for undisclosed reasons.

Shane Morris, QB (Central Michigan): Morris completed 12/30 passes for 243 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions in a back-and-forth, 35-28 win over Western Michigan. He also ran 8 times for 27 yards and 2 scores.

Wyatt Shallman, DE (Ohio): Shallman made 2 tackles in a 45-28 win over Miami-OH on Halloween night.

Logan Tuley-Tillman, OT (UTEP): Tuley-Tillman has been the starting left tackle for the UTEP Miners. Unfortunately for them, they’re 0-9. Along with Georgia Southern, they’re the only winless teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision. No teams went winless in 2016, but Kansas and UCF both achieved that feat in 2015.

Keith Washington, CB (Copiah-Lincoln Community College): Washington made 1 tackle in a 40-21 loss to Pearl River Community College in the season finale. Washington ends his year with 20 tackles, 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, 1 forced fumble, and 5 pass breakups. Co-Lin went 4-5 this season.

Kingston Davis, RB (Independence Community College): Davis was 2 times for 0 yards in a 9-6 win over Highland Community College. He now has 20 carries for 37 yards this season, and he has lost 2 fumbles on those 20 carries.

Ross Douglas, LB (Rutgers): Douglas made 4 tackles in a 14-12 win over Illinois.

Shane Morris, QB (CMU): Morris completed 16/21 passes for 199 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 56-9 win over Ball State.

Wyatt Shallman, DE (Ohio): Shallman made 1 tackle in a 48-3 win over Kent State.

Shane Morris, QB (CMU): Morris completed 17/37 passes for 182 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions; he ran 6 times for 23 yards. This year he has completed 55% of his passes for 12 TDs and 11 INTs.

Wyatt Shallman, DE (Ohio): Shallman made 5 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in a 48-30 win over Bowling Green State University.

Keith Washington, CB (Copiah-Lincoln C.C.): Washington made 1 tackle in a 16-15 loss to Hinds College in week six.

TRANSFERS

Kingston Davis, RB (Independence C.C.): Davis had 4 carries for 4 yards in a 44-38 win over Ellsworth Community College. He now has 18 carries for 37 yards this season.

Shane Morris, QB (CMU): Morris completed 25/35 passes for 249 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception in a 26-23 win over Ohio.

Wyatt Shallman, DE (Ohio): Shallman, who did not play in Ohio’s first four games, broke out with 5 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack in his debut. Who was his sack victim? None other than Shane Morris, his former teammate at Michigan. Ohio lost by a score of 26-23.

Keith Washington, CB (Copiah-Lincoln C.C.): Washington made 1 tackle and 1 pass breakup in a 27-24 win over East Central Community College in week five. No stats are available for week six yet.

Ex-Wolverine Updates: 2017 Pre-season Edition

TRANSFERS

OG Kyle Bosch: Bosch is expected to start at offensive guard for West Virginia. He’s currently ranked as the #11 offensive guard in the 2018 draft class by NFL Draft Scout.

WR/S Brian Cole: Cole spent the 2016 season at East Mississippi Community College, the school that’s the subject of the Netflix docuseries Last Chance U. Cole isn’t featured prominently, though he makes a couple cameos. Anyway, he made 54 tackles, 1 sack, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries at safety. He enrolled at Mississippi State in January but he will have to redshirt this year to get in compliance with academic requirements.

RB Kingston Davis: Davis ran 2 times for 17 yards against Hawaii in last year’s season opener, and now he’s transferring to Independence Community College in Kansas. The assumption is that he’ll try to transfer back up to an FBS program in 2018.
