Chris Akporoghene – OT – Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy: Akporoghene is a 6’4″, 294 lb. prospect who has been committed to Tennessee since July of 2018; he also has offers from Florida, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #67 offensive tackle, and #819 overall. Akporoghene is a native Nigerian, moved to Tennessee, and then finished up his football career at IMG Academy. This is his official visit.

    I kind of agree with the guy over at the other site who like Chris Akporoghene as a DT.

    On offense, he has to stand up at the snap. Looks like maybe he has trouble bending and that they’re really working hard on his stance, as it varies dramatically from snap to snap on this reel. But he has some nice quick feet moving forward … and a mean streak. If you could get him comfortable in a four point stance and consistently firing out low, he’d likely be really tough to move out of a hole. Looks like he could soak up some doubles. Roughly the same dimensions as Hinton and Smith to boot.

    I’m thinking they’re talking to him about Mattison.

    Christ the OSU loss just keeps on giving. It had to have something with dax hill going to Bama. That one stings. Hate fucking recruiting. I would love to blame this on $ but after the debacle in Cbus. Not so much.
