Last year: Fox was a senior in high school. I gave him a TTB Rating of 85.
Perhaps the state of Colorado’s best player, Fox committed to Michigan in February 2012. Michigan recruited him as a right tackle, but he could also potentially play guard. He accepted an invitation to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but Fox tore his ACL at the end of his senior season, which meant he was unable to participate in the bowl game. Because of that injury, the loss of time to prepare for football, and the fact that freshmen usually redshirt, anyway, it’s very unlikely that Fox sees the field this year.

With 83 scholarship players this season and three of them already profiled, That leaves 80 scholarship players and 12 walk ons in your top 12. Some of the walk-ons are obvious, like Glanda, the two linemen in the 2-deep (Burzynski and Glasgow), Kerridge, Reynolds and Cleary, who is presumably QB3 going into the season.
That leaves 6 walkons you consider to have at least a fighting chance to see the field this year, considering they're considered more important than a suspended punter and two ACL injured schollie players. My guess:
Kenny Allen, Eric Gunderson (3rd string tackle?), Ryan Glasgow, Alex Swieca, Anthony Capatina and maybe that running back who got a few carries in the spring game, but isn't listed on your scholarship count, but showed enough to maybe see the field on special teams at some stage.
After the Kovacs experience, I think all of us appreciate a walk on showing everyone that he's got more in him than colleges could see. The Glasgows particularly seem like they were harshly treated and would see the field quite a bit at lesser B10 schools.

This kid has a long hill to climb towards playing time. He showed all the physical tools necessary to even play on the left side, but with this setback and all the competition there is at OL, he could get lost in the shuffle.

Fox has plenty of time to recover and build up his overall strength. He will be able to compete just fine with the other recruits.

Do you know if Fox's red shirt will be due to injury i.e. a medical red shirt? It could potentially set him up for 6 years of eligibility down the road if that is the case

If I understand correctly, he can only get 6 years if he is forced into a second injury related redshirt. Hopefully this will not be an issue.
