Quick observation from watching some of the game:
Pros: Aggressive blocker; had 2 blocks downfield that were well executed, flattening one guy. He was called for a penalty on the other but it was a dumb rule about not leading with hands when blocking downfield. I’ll forgive him. Totally legal in CFB. Had 2 catches for about 6 yds. Tough kid who took a hit on one of his passes and held onto the ball.
Cons: Didn’t really get a lot of plays his direction but he did drop a pass that was close to being a lateral. As I suspect, played slot but didn’t look overly quick; long-strider which isn’t typical from the slot. Will definitely need to redshirt to work on routes.
Note: I only saw about 5 mins of 4th qtr due to my dvr stopping.
