2021
Judge Culpepper – DT – Penn State: Culpepper is listed at 6’4″ and 291 lbs. He was a 3-star coming out of Florida in the class of 2018. Culpepper is the son of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Brad Culpepper. He made 5 tackles and 0.5 sacks in 2020.

Antonio Shelton – DT – Penn State: Shelton is a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions and is listed at 6’2″, 327 lbs. He made 14 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks during the 2020 season. He attended Westerville (OH) North, so while a lot of players transfer closer to home, I’m not sure that’s in the cards for Shelton.
OFF THE BOARD
Julian Barnett – CB – Michigan State: Barnett is transferring to Memphis.
Devontae Dobbs – OT – Michigan State: Dobbs is also transferring to Memphis. Both Barnett and Dobbs are from Belleville (MI) Belleville, so obviously their connection is a strong one to go from Belleville to Michigan State to Memphis together. I didn’t expect Michigan to be much of a factor since neither one liked Michigan coming out of high school.
Timmy Horne – DT – Charlotte: Despite some contact from Michigan, Horne committed to Kansas State.
Victory Vaka – DT – Westlake Village (CA) Westlake: Vaka committed to Colorado on Christmas day. Michigan had not pursued him for a while, though he listed the Wolverines in his top group before committing.
Dylan Wright – WR – Texas A&M: Wright committed to Minnesota.
MISCELLANEY
Ceyair Wright – CB – Los Angeles (CA) Loyola: Wright named a final seven that includes Michigan, and he will be announcing his decision on New Year’s Day. He’s a 4-star, the #6 cornerback, and #77 overall.
