ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2022

Jordan Crook – LB – Duncanville (TX) Duncanville: Crook is a 6’0″, 220 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona, Oklahoma State, USC, and Washington, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #12 inside linebacker, and #377 overall. Duncanville is a large, powerhouse Texas program that had the guts to schedule IMG Academy earlier this season (though they lost to J.J. McCarthy and his squad, 41-14).

Kiyaunta Goodwin – OT – Charlestown (IN) Charlestown: Goodwin is a 6’7″, 300-pounder with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #24 offensive tackle, and #195 overall. He’s a mammoth human being, and his junior film even identifies him as being 6’8″ and 315 pounds.

Hit the jump for more.

Kaden Helms – TE – Bellevue (NE) West: Helms is a 6’5″, 215 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State and Iowa, among others. Though he plays wide receiver in high school, he has the body type that Michigan looks for in a tight end. Currently, he’s ranked as a 3-star, the #69 wide receiver, and #511 overall.

Lucas Heyer – OT – St. Paul (MN) Hill Murray: Heyer is a 6’5″, 307-pounder with offers from Minnesota, Stanford, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #33 offensive tackle, and #261 overall.

Charlie Mirer – QB – San Diego (CA) Cathedral: Mirer is a 6’6″, 225 lb. prospect with offers from . . . well, Michigan is his only offer so far. He’s the son of former Notre Dame and NFL quarterback Rick Mirer, the #2 overall pick in 1993. Charlie is the kind of large, somewhat immobile quarterback that is being phased out of the game, so I wonder if Michigan wants him more as a tight end.

Richard Thomas, Jr. – DE – Ft. Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage: Thomas is a 6’2″, 240 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, LSU, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #17 strongside end, and #278 overall. I think he’s one of those “ends” who has the body of a future defensive tackle.

OFF THE BOARD

Caleb Burton – WR – Del Valle (TX) Del Valle: Burton is a 5-star, the #2 wide receiver, and #15 overall, and he committed to Ohio State. He’s a teammate of Michigan running back commit Tavierre Dunlap (2021).

Quinn Ewers – QB – Southlake (TX) Carroll: Ewers, previously committed to Texas, is now pledged to Ohio State. He’s the #1 quarterback in 2022 and #2 overall.

Isaac Thompson – S – St. Louis (MO) University School: Thompson, a 4-star, the #11 safety, and the #157 overall player, committed to Missouri. Michigan had the momentum after he visited during the Wisconsin game, but rumors about Jim Harbaugh’s job status pushed him toward the Tigers.
