Xavier Newsom – DE – Detroit (MI) Martin Luther King, Jr.: Newsome is a 6’5″, 210 lb. prospect whose first offer comes from Michigan. Michigan has not really offered a prospect from MLK since cornerback Lavert Hill in the 2016 class, though a couple other players (Myles Rowser and Tyrece Woods) have passed through before finishing their careers at Belleville.

Akili Smith, Jr. – QB – Murrieta (CA) Vista Murrieta: Smith’s name might sound familiar, and that’s because he’s the 6’5″, 200 lb. son of former Oregon and NFL quarterback Akili Smith. The younger Smith has offers from Arizona, Cal, and Fresno State. The elder Smith threw for 3,783 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions in his final year at Oregon before becoming the #3 overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 1999. However, he started just seventeen total games in four years and threw just 5 touchdowns and 13 interceptions before wrapping up his football career after 2002.

Kamran Williams – RB – Jefferson (TX) Jefferson: Williams is a 5’10”, 180-pounder with offers from Texas Tech and UTSA, among others. He ran for 720 yards and 5 touchdowns on just 80 carries.
