Xavier Newsom – DE – Detroit (MI) Martin Luther King, Jr.: Newsome is a 6’5″, 210 lb. prospect whose first offer comes from Michigan. Michigan has not really offered a prospect from MLK since cornerback Lavert Hill in the 2016 class, though a couple other players (Myles Rowser and Tyrece Woods) have passed through before finishing their careers at Belleville.
Akili Smith, Jr. – QB – Murrieta (CA) Vista Murrieta: Smith’s name might sound familiar, and that’s because he’s the 6’5″, 200 lb. son of former Oregon and NFL quarterback Akili Smith.
