ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Miami (FL) Northwestern linebacker Samuel Brooks, Jr. was offered by Michigan. Brooks is a 6’2″, 195 lb. prospect with offers from Kentucky, Louisville, and South Florida, among others. He plays with his hand down at times and is more of a pass rusher, so it will be interesting to see how his body develops and how he’ll be able to be used.

Montvale (NJ) St. Joseph defensive end Howard Cross III was offered by Michigan. Cross is a 6’2″, 240 lb. prospect with offers from Maryland, North Carolina State, and Rutgers, among others. He’s the son of former Alabama and New York Giants tight end Howard Cross.

Destrehan (LA) Destrehan running back John Emery, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 194 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, and LSU, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #7 running back, and #90 overall.

Hit the jump for a bunch more 2019 offers, a couple 2020 offers, and some other bits.

Humble (TX) Atascocita offensive tackle Kenyon Green, an LSU commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 315-pounder who has been pledged to the Tigers since December of 2016. He’s a 4-star, the #2 offensive tackle, and #19 overall. He’s one of a few LSU pledges to have been offered in recent weeks, perhaps as a shot across the bow to Ed Orgeron and LSU, who bullied Tulane into pushing Michigan out of a June satellite camp.

Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington safety Daxton Hill was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 182 lb. prospect with offers from Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, TCU, and Texas, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #2 safety, and #29 overall. As a sophomore in 2016, he made 62 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 11 pass breakups. It used to be that Michigan seemed to go after big safeties and average sized corners, but Jim Harbaugh seems to like big corners and medium sized safeties. Anyway, Hill fits that mold and is an athletic kid who might have been looked at as a corner by previous coaches.

Nashville (TN) Davidson Academy defensive end Ani Izuchukwu was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 230 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, LSU, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #9 weakside end, and #134 overall.

Chesapeake (VA) Oscar Smith cornerback Cam’ron Kelly was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’1″, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida State, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #11 cornerback, and #183 overall. He’s a large corner prospect who could also potentially play receiver at the next level.

Brunswick (GA) Brunswick offensive tackle Warren McClendon was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 280 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #27 offensive tackle, and #219 overall. McClendon is an athletic potential left tackle prospect.

Buford (GA) Buford offensive tackle Harry Miller was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 310 lb. prospect with offers from Florida, Oregon, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s a teammate of 2018 Michigan running back commit Christian Turner.

Richmond (TX) Bush safety Jamal Morris was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Baylor, Houston, and others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #12 safety, and #225 overall. He claims a 4.82 forty, but that might be an old time. Morris comes hard downhill to support the run, though he’s still decent in coverage. He appears to be a similar player to Delano Hill.

Phoenix (AZ) Mountain Pointe defensive tackle Matthew Pola-Mao was offered by Michigan. He’s 6’2″, 295 lbs. with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, USC, and Washington, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #4 defensive tackle, and #62 overall. His older brother is Isaiah Pola-Mao, a safety who committed to USC in the 2017 class.

Cordele (GA) Crisp County safety Jammie Robinson was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 180 lb. safety with offers from Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #34 athlete, and #268 overall. As a sophomore in 2016, he made 106 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 3 interceptions; he also added over 1,300 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns on offense.

Belleview (FL) Belleview offensive tackle Michael Tarquin was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 290 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #13 offensive tackle, and #104 overall. He looks like an offensive guard or right tackle at the next level.

Harbor City (CA) Narbonne offensive tackle Jonah Tauanu’u was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 275 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Oregon, and USC, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #8 offensive tackle, and #76 overall. Michigan has tried to get in with Narbonne players before, such as offensive tackle Alex Akingbulu (UCLA), but have been unable to get much traction.

Thomaston (GA) Upson-Lee defensive tackle Travon Walker was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 255 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, and LSU, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #3 defensive tackle, and #45 overall. Walker is very intriguing, because Upson-Lee lines him up all over the field (strong safety, defensive end, defensive tackle, punt team, etc.); however, he’s very raw and will probably be a defensive tackle or perhaps a strongside end in college.

Allen (TX) Allen wide receiver Theo Wease was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 189-pounder with offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, and LSU, along with lots of others; he decommitted from Oklahoma in late April. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #7 wide receiver, and #32 overall.

Dallas (TX) Bishop Dunne safety Brian Williams was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 185 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #1 safety, and #12 overall. As a junior in 2016, he made 78 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 6 pass breakups, and 8 interceptions. He’s an outstanding athlete, and if I told you he was a senior in his highlights, you wouldn’t bat an eyelash. He’s very well put together. I imagine he’ll end up somewhere like Alabama, LSU, or Ohio State, but I would be ecstatic to land someone with his talent.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2020

Marietta (GA) Marietta quarterback Harrison Bailey was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 215-pounder with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and LSU, among others. As a freshman in 2016, he completed 208/363 passes for 2,812 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. Bailey is Michigan’s second QB offer in the 2020 class, following Hawaii’s Sol-Jay Maiava.

Southlake (TX) Southlake Carroll cornerback R.J. Mickens was offered by Michigan. He’s the son of former Texas A&M and NFL cornerback Ray Mickens. The younger Mickens is a 5’11”, 175-pounder with offers from Arizona, Georgia, and Texas A&M, plus others.

MISCELLANEY

Grand Rapids (MI) Catholic Central offensive tackle Jalen Mayfield is announcing his commitment tomorrow, May 23, which is his birthday. In related news, I will probably be putting up a commitment post for him tomorrow.

williams is gifted, youre right, looks like a senior out there making plays. i think lytton and proctor are 2 of the better DBs in 2018 class (at least that ive seen) and williams is not far off. interested to see if he continues to get better and remain dominant or if he flattens out a bit and more than a few others catch up to him athletically
