De’Veon Smith

Smith is making this pretty much a one-man race during the AAF season. The Orlando Apollos’ De’Veon Smith ran 13 times for 40 yards (3.1 YPC) and 3 touchdowns (1 yard, 1 yard, 4 yards) and 1 catch for 0 yards. The Apollos won over the Atlanta Legends, 36-6.

HONORABLE MENTION

  • Matt Godin, DT (San Antonio Commanders): Godin made 1 tackle in a 19-15 win over the Salt Lake Stallions.
  • Ty Isaac, RB (Birmingham Iron): Isaac did not play in the Iron’s 31-25 loss to the Memphis Express.
  • Denard Robinson, RB (Atlanta Legends): Robinson had 2 carries for 4 yards and 2 catches for 21 yards in the 36-6 loss to Orlando.
  • Channing Stribling, CB (Memphis Express): Stribling made 2 tackles in a 31-25 win over the Birmingham Iron.

    So WTH..did Denard Robinson gain 50 lbs, or is he just running behind a bunch of pygmys?

      I think he’s listed at 212 lbs., so yes, he’s added some weight. I’m not sure what’s going on there, though.
