Rivals is reporting a pretty interesting tidbit from The Fort. Normally, I don’t post much from the insider boards, but this is pretty significant because we’re all starving for football. Some scuttlebutt on potential options for Notre Dame this fall (LINK):

  • Only fill stadium to 20% capacity
  • COVID-19 testing twice per week for players/staff
  • 1 and 2 positive tests will result in a quarantine
  • 3+ positive tests will result in a cancellation of the season

Class of 2021 quarterback commit J.J. McCarthy is transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season. Shea Patterson also finished his career at IMG.

Here’s a fun Maurice Hurst, Jr. highlight reel:

I hope we have CFB this fall, but I just don’t see a full season taking place

Even if we start on time, what are the odds a program won’t have three positive tests in a 12+ week span? It’s so I likely

I think there is roughly a 0.01% chance we have a full season taking place with all 130 teams playing their normal 11-12 games. It seems to be almost a foregone conclusion that schedules are going to need to be shifted, fewer games are going to be played, etc. The Washington game seems to be out the window already.
