6. Brennan Parachek – TE – Dexter (MI) Dexter
Height: 6’6″
Weight: 235 lbs.
Notable offers: Indiana, Kentucky, Pitt
Commitment: Michigan State
247 Composite: 4-star, #18 TE, #337 overall
Analysis: Paracheck is a traditional in-line tight end with good size. He should easily be able to carry 250-260 pounds in college. Parachek does not have much burst or suddenness to his game, even against so-so high school talent, so I would not expect him to become a dynamic receiving threat. He seems to be a guy who might end up averaging 9 or 10 yards per catch while being used mostly as a blocker. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if he were to put on even more weight and end up as an offensive lineman at the next level. He’s also a teammate of 2023 running back Cole Cabana (Michigan), who is #4 in the state.

7. Amare Snowden – CB – Roseville (MI) Roseville
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 187 lbs.
Notable offers: Arkansas, Iowa, Notre Dame, Penn State
Commitment: Uncommitted
247 Composite: 4-star, #37 CB, #361 overall
Analysis: Snowden is a tall, long corner who has a pretty decent offer list so far. I have some serious questions about whether he can remain at the cornerback position in college; his body and lack of quickness/speed make me think he will become a safety or outside linebacker sooner or later. Snowden is a two-sport star (football and baseball) and tracks the ball well in the air, which makes me think he might be a good fit for someone at safety.

8. Semaj Morgan – WR – West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield
Height:
5’10”
Weight: 175 lbs.
Notable offers: Missouri, Ole Miss, West Virginia
Commitment: Michigan
247 Composite: 3-star, #48 WR, #366 overall
Analysis: The second Laker to appear on this list – I wrote about lineman Amir Herring last week (LINK) – Morgan is committed to the Wolverines. I wrote up a commitment post/scouting report here (LINK).

9. Khamari Anderson – DE – Detroit (MI) Cass Tech
Height: 6’4″
Weight: 225 lbs.
Notable offers: Indiana, Louisville, Michigan, Pitt, USC
Commitment: Cincinnati
247 Composite: 3-star, #22 TE, #400 overall
Analysis: Anderson is the younger brother of Michigan offensive lineman Raheem Anderson II, but despite an offer from the Wolverines, he picked the Bearcats. Anderson has some positional versatility and could play defensive end at the next level. As a tight end he offers more explosiveness than Parachek, though he doesn’t have quite the same size.

10. Johnathan Slack – OT – Detroit (MI) King
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 280 lbs.
Notable offers: Kentucky, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee
Commitment: Michigan State
247 Composite: 3-star, #25 IOL, #410 overall
Analysis: Slack is the starting left tackle at King and protects the blind side of 5-star quarterback Dante Moore. There has been talk that he’s dead set on playing tackle at the next level, and I’ve been waiting for a year or two to see if he hits a growth spurt. Based on his junior film, it looks like he’s still in that 6’3″ range (and we know sometimes heights are exaggerated, so he might even be 6’2″ or so). While he is athletic and finishes blocks well, I do think he will likely have to transition inside to guard or center. It might have helped with Moore to offer Slack, but as an undersized interior lineman, I think that might have been a little disingenuous considering Michigan’s general preference for larger linemen.
