La Mesa (CA) Helix offensive guard Josh Simmons was offered by Michigan on Tuesday. Later on Tuesday, he decommitted from Oregon, a commitment he had pledged in January. Simmons is 6’5″, 323 lbs. and is a 4-star, the #16 offensive guard, and #274 overall to the 247 Composite. He could also play defensive tackle at the next level.
Simmons also has offers from Miami, Penn State, UCLA, and USC, among others.
Oklahoma City (OK) John Marshall cornerback Bryce Stephens earned an offer from Michigan on Tuesday. He’s a 6’0″, 185 lb. prospect with offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and Texas Tech, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #113 wide receiver, and #739 overall.
As a junior in 2019, he caught 21 passes for 416 yards and 6 touchdowns; ran the ball 11 times for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns; and made 27 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 4 interceptions.
Michigan offered La Puente (CA) Bishop Amat cornerback Dyson McCutcheon on Monday afternoon. He’s a 5’10”, 165 lb. prospect with offers from Cal, Notre Dame, USC, and Wisconsin, among others. He ranks as a 3-star, the #50 cornerback, and #597 overall.
Dyson is the son of former USC and Cleveland Browns cornerback Daylon McCutcheon.
