ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2014
Immokalee (FL) Immokalee defensive end Jimmy Bayes was offered by Michigan. Bayes is a 6’4″, 185-pounder who plays wide receiver on offense and could end up on either side of the ball in college. He committed to South Florida at the end of January, but he has offers from Connecticut, Missouri, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia, and he appears to be open to other schools. Michigan hasn’t pursued someone from Immokalee since defensive end John Paul in the 2006 class, but it’s a heavily recruited school that has produced guys like Mackensie Alexander (Clemson), Aaron Henry (Wisconsin), Brian Rolle (Ohio State), and Javarris James (Miami).
ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2015
Miami (FL) Southridge tight end Devonaire Clarington was offered by Michigan. Clarington is a 6’5″, 235 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Florida State, and Miami, among others. As a sophomore in 2012, he had 18 catches for 251 yards and 1 touchdown, and he claims a 4.65 forty time.
