The Michigan Daily says Ambry Thomas is turning into a leader (LINK).

Rivals breaks down the top NFL linebacker prospects for the draft, including Devin Bush, Jr. (LINK).

This has nothing to do with Michigan (except a mention of former DL coach Steve Stripling), but it’s a pretty interesting interview with Tennessee’s Jonathan Kongbo about the differences between Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt (LINK).

Also in random bits of news, here’s a Yahoo! Sports piece on Michael Sam (LINK). Yeah, I hadn’t thought about him in a few years, either.

J.D. Johnson – QB – Phoenix (AZ) Pinnacle: Johnson committed to Michigan in December of 2018 (LINK). He is taking other visits, including to Oregon and Texas A&M. He has moved up from being a 3-star to now being a 247 Composite 4-star, the #11 pro-style quarterback, and #306 overall. This is an official visit, and he’ll be in town from April 17-19.

Kechaun Bennett – DE – Suffield (CT) Suffield Academy: Bennett is a 6’4″, 215-pounder with an offer from Tennessee. Suffield is the alma mater of Michigan safety Brad Hawkins.

T.J. Bollers – DE – Tiffin (IA) Clear Creek Amana: Bollers is a 6’3″, 241 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa, Iowa State, and Minnesota, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #14 weakside end, and #207 overall. As a sophomore in 2018, he made 45.5 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks.

Naquan Brown – DE – Virginia Beach (VA) Ocean Lakes: Brown is a 6’3″, 200 lb. prospect with offers from Penn State, Pitt, and Virginia, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #7 weakside end, and #103 overall.
