New Offer: 2021 DE Patrick Hisatake

Michigan offered Portland (OR) Westview defensive end Patrick Histake. He’s a 6’5″, 240 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona State, Maryland, and Utah, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star and the #101 athlete in the country. Though he plays outside linebacker in high school, he probably translates to defensive end at the next level.

New Offer: 2022 TE Trent McGaughey

Michigan offered 2022 Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek tight end Trent McGaughey on Thursday. He’s a 6’4″, 224 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida, Houston, LSU, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star and the #9 tight end in the class.

As a sophomore in 2019, McGaughey caught 9 passes for 192 yards.

McGaughey is the son of Thomas McGaughey, who played college football at Houston before playing defensive back with the Bengals and Eagles in the NFL. The elder McGaughey is now a defensive assistant with the New York Giants.

Dominick Giudice, Wolverine

Middletown (NJ) Mater Dei defensive end Dominick Giudice committed to Michigan on Wednesday evening, shortly after the commitment of offensive lineman Greg Crippen (LINK). Giudice picked the Wolverines over offers from military academies, MAC schools, Ivy League schools, and UMass.

Giudice is listed at 6’4″ and 250 lbs. As a junior in 2019, he made 43 tackles for loss and 24 sacks.
