I’m not expecting much in the way of positive news right now, since Michigan’s team and coaching staff are visiting Paris and Normandy at the moment. So here’s a list of mostly bad news:
OFF THE BOARD
Roswell (GA) Blessed Trinity linebacker Steele Chambers committed to Ohio State. Chambers, a running back/linebacker ranked as the #29 ATH in the 247 Composite, visited Ohio State and then Michigan on a northern swing in late March.
Atlanta (GA) Marist safety Kyle Hamilton committed to Notre Dame. The 6’3″, 188-pounder had also taken a recent visit to Michigan before committing; Hamilton had been in town for Michigan’s “spring game” weekend that did not involve a spring game.
Gibsonia (PA) Pine-Richland offensive tackle Andrew Kristofic committed to Notre Dame. Is this another guy who took a visit to Michigan in the past month? Yes. Yes, it is.
Malvern (PA) Malvern Prep linebacker Keith Maguire, Jr. committed to Clemson. Maguire was offered in mid-March and never made a trip to Ann Arbor.
Homerville (GA) Clinch County linebacker Trezman Marshall committed to Georgia. A guy from Homerville, GA who didn’t pick an in-state school would be kind of a dick.
Allen (TX) Allen offensive guard E.J. Ndoma-Ogar committed to Oklahoma.
Mansfield (OH) Lexington linebacker Cade Stover committed to Ohio State. I knew Stover wouldn’t come to Michigan, but he was one of my most desired prospects in the 2019 class. He can do a lot of different things for the Buckeyes.
Austin (TX) Lake Travis wide receiver Garrett Wilson committed to Ohio State. He never showed any interest in Michigan.
