Former WR/S Brian Cole II: Cole made 2 tackles in East Mississippi Community College’s 51-32 win over Northwest Mississippi Community College. EMCC is now 6-0 on the season.

Former CB commit Gareon Conley: Conley made 3 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 pass breakup in Ohio State’s 30-23 overtime win against Wisconsin.

Former RB/CB Ross Douglas: Douglas made 1 tackle in Rutgers’ 24-7 loss to Illinois. On a slightly related note, Rutgers has scored 7, 0, 0, and 7 points in their past four games for an average of 3.5 points/game. Their 16.6 points/game for the season puts them at #125 out of 128 teams.

Former Michigan Athlete of the Week: Tom Brady

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was 29/35 for 376 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions in a 35-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

HONORABLE MENTION

• New England Patriots DT Alan Branch made 6 tackles in the 35-17 win over the Bengals
• Carolina Panthers WR Devin Funchess caught 2 passes for 28 yards and 1 touchdown in a 41-38 loss to the New Orleans Saints
• Detroit Lions LG Graham Glasgow made his first career start in a 31-28 win over the Los Angeles Rams

2016 Scholarship Count

Players are listed in order of remaining eligibility. With 81 scholarships allotted, Michigan is now under its scholarship limit for 2016. As for the 2017 recruiting class, 19 seniors are scheduled to graduate, so the class should have at least 23 players.

Former Michigan Athlete of the Week: Tom Brady

Tom Brady returned to action with a vengeance after his four-game Deflategate suspension to begin the year. He and the New England Patriots beat the Cleveland Browns 33-13. Brady went 28/40 for 406 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

• Philadelphia Eagles DE Brandon Graham made 6 tackles in a 24-23 loss to the Detroit Lions
• New York Jets LB David Harris made 6 tackles and 1 pass breakup in a 31-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers
• Tennessee Titans LT Taylor Lewan continues to have an excellent season and helped secure a 30-17 win over the Miami Dolphins
• Green Bay Packers LB Jake Ryan made 7 tackles in a 23-16 win over the New York Giants
