September 18, 2015: Flanagan lost to Plantation (FL) South by a score of 13-12. Gil made 11 tackles in the game and now has 18 tackles with 3 pass breakups on the year. Metellus missed this contest with a groin injury. Flanagan is now 2-1.

September 4, 2015: Flanagan beat Coconut Creek (FL) Coconut Creek by a score of 21-14. Gil made 3 tackles and 3 pass breakups, while Metellus made 9 tackles and 2 sacks. Coconut Creek features Michigan targets Malek Young (Georgia), Binjimen Victor, and Trayvon Mullen. Gil now has 7 tackles and 3 pass breakups on the season, while Metellus has 17 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Flanagan is now 2-0.

August 28, 2015: Flanagan beat Parkland (FL) Stoneman Douglas by a score of 35-7. Gil made 4 tackles, and Metellus made 8 tackles and half a sack. Flanagan is now 1-0.

Mount Holly (NC) Mountain Island running back Robert Washington decommitted from Syracuse. You may remember that there was a bit of a kerfuffle when he committed to Syracuse in the first place, because he supposedly committed to Florida shortly before that. And, oh yeah, he was also committed to Mississippi State for a while. His most recent 247 Crystal Ball pick is in favor of North Carolina, but his choice will be his fourth school, so take any news with a grain of salt.

August 27, 2015: Reese’s Farmington (MI) Farmington team beat Royal Oak (MI) Royal Oak by a score of 39-28. Reese made 10 tackles and 2 tackles for loss, and he had a 48-yard touchdown on a fullback trap, totaling 8 carries for 79 yards.

Ahmir Mitchell, Wolverine

Egg Harbor City (NJ) Cedar Creek wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell committed to Michigan on Thursday afternoon. He chose the Wolverines over offers from Florida State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and Rutgers, among others.

Mitchell is 6’3″, 206 lbs. He claims a 4.67 forty. As a junior in 2014, he caught 47 passes for 881 yards and 12 touchdowns. He added almost 600 more yards and 10 touchdowns carrying the ball, on defense, and on special teams.
