Orchard Lake (MI) St. Mary’s punter Tommy Doman committed to Michigan on Thursday night. He picked the Wolverines over offers from Boston College, Colorado State, Washington State, some MAC schools, some military academies, and some Ivy League schools.
Doman is listed at 6’3″ and 170 lbs. He has the school record for longest field goal (50 yards). On his Hudl page, he claims a 125 lb. bench, a 220 lb. squat, a 185 lb. deadlift, and 12.8 in the 100 meters.

La Mesa (CA) Helix offensive guard Josh Simmons was offered by Michigan on Tuesday. Later on Tuesday, he decommitted from Oregon, a commitment he had pledged in January. Simmons is 6’5″, 323 lbs. and is a 4-star, the #16 offensive guard, and #274 overall to the 247 Composite. He could also play defensive tackle at the next level.
Simmons also has offers from Miami, Penn State, UCLA, and USC, among others.
Oklahoma City (OK) John Marshall cornerback Bryce Stephens earned an offer from Michigan on Tuesday. He’s a 6’0″, 185 lb. prospect with offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and Texas Tech, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #113 wide receiver, and #739 overall.
As a junior in 2019, he caught 21 passes for 416 yards and 6 touchdowns; ran the ball 11 times for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns; and made 27 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 4 interceptions.
