Omillio Agard – CB – Philadelphia (PA) St. Joseph’s: Agard is a 6’0″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 cornerback, and #45 overall. St. Joseph’s is the alma mater of former Michigan offensive lineman Jon Runyan, Jr.
KingJoseph Edwards – TE – Buford (GA) Buford: Edwards is a 6’5″, 242 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #7 athlete, and #58 overall. Buford is a powerhouse program that produces FBS talent on a yearly basis, including former Michigan running back Christian Turner (now at Wake Forest).
Dante Moore – QB – Detroit (MI) King: Moore is a 6’3″, 195 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and others. He’s a 5-star, the #3 quarterback, and #5 overall. Michigan is not really pursuing any other quarterbacks in the 2023 class, so they have all their eggs in the Moore basket, so this is an important visit for the Wolverines. Right now the crystal ball leader is Notre Dame. At this point I think this recruitment is a formality, honestly. My hunch is that this is one final hurrah for Michigan and a chance for Moore to say he gave it every chance before he goes ahead and commits to Notre Dame. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Davi Belfort – QB – Fort Lauderdale (FL) Dillard: Belfort is a 5’11”, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s the son of UFC fighter Vitor Belfort. On his official visit to Ann Arbor this weekend, he also picked up an offer from Michigan.
Kyle Altuner – OT – Olney (MD) Good Counsel: Altuner is a 6’4″, 290 lb. prospect with offers from Maryland, Miami, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #19 offensive tackle, and #332 overall. He’s a teammate of 2024 linebacker Aaron Chiles, who was also offered recently.
Jamyri Cauley – WR – Dallas (TX) South Oak Cliff: Cauley is a 6’2″, 215-pounder with offers from Georgia, LSU, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #11 wide receiver, and #71 overall. As a sophomore in 2021, he caught 35 passes for 938 yards and 10 touchdowns.
It’s been a month and a half since I did a recruiting update for the 2024 class, and in that time, a ton of offers have gone out for the next class. It would take forever to write them all up, so I will highlight a few and then just list some others.
T.J. Capers – LB – Miami (FL) Columbus: Capers is a 6’2″, 230 lb. prospect with offers from Florida and Miami, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #2 linebacker, and #26 overall. He attends the alma mater of former Michigan linebacker/defensive end Josh Uche.
Aaron Chiles – LB – Olney (MD) Good Counsel: Chiles is a 6’3″, 210 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, Miami, Penn State, Texas A&M, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 linebacker, and #151 overall to 247 Sports. Michigan has had some success at Good Counsel over the years with the likes of Blake Countess and Kris Jenkins, Jr., among others.
Spencer Fano – OT – Provo (UT) Timpview: Fano is a 6’5″, 270 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Michigan, Oregon, and USC, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #4 offensive tackle, and #40 overall.
Sidikiba Kaba – DT – Columbus (OH) KIPP: Kaba is a 6’4″, 260 lb. prospect who was recently offered by Michigan; he also has offers from Duke, West Virginia, and several MAC schools. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star and the #150 defensive lineman. His teammate Cameron Frazier was also offered by Michigan but did not visit with Kaba.
T.J. Metcalf – S – Pinson (AL) Valley: Metcalf is a 6’1″, 180-pounder with offers from Florida State, Miami, Michigan, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #39 safety, and #468 overall.
Marquis Gallegos – S – West Hills (CA) Chaminade: Gallegos is a 6’1″, 170-pounder with offers from Notre Dame, USC, Washington, and a few others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star and the #29 safety.
Luca Puccinelli – TE – Richmond (VA) Benedictine: Puccinelli is a 6’7″, 225-pounder with offers from Duke, East Carolina, and Virginia Tech. He came on his visit and left without an offer, but there’s still time for Michigan to extend an offer since he’s a 2024 recruit. Puccinelli is a 247 Sports 3-star and the #17 tight end in his class.
