Michigan offered Texarkana (TX) Texas defensive end Clayton Smith on Thursday. He’s a 6’4″, 215 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #8 outside linebacker, and #104 overall.

As a junior in 2019, Smith made 94 tackles, 40 tackles for loss, 20 sacks, 8 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 10 receptions, 237 yards, and 6 touchdowns. He’s committed to the 2021 All-American Bowl.
