Is this too high for a holder?
Not if it’s the Mortell Holder of the Year Award winner.
Here is my full acceptance speech for the 2016 Mortell Holder of the Year Award. Thank you to @SonnyEquipment for the great video work!〽️ pic.twitter.com/PRpnw07s7z

On a serious note, Moores did a good job as the holder last year, and he even scored a 2-point conversion on a fake extra point against Rutgers. (Who didn’t score in that game? Oh, yeah. Rutgers.)
Moores was a solid high school quarterback and is decently athletic. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see Michigan cook something up for him again this year. Hopefully he can repeat.

Great video. One of the highlights of the season was running the fake extra point up 27-0 on Rutgers.

That two point conversion was the type of out of the box play I wish Harbaugh would use a bit more often offensively as well as on special teams.
Credit to whoever saw Rutgers’s tendencies and turned this loose. Credit to Moores for recognizing the opportunity and making it happen.
