ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2018
Clearwater (FL) Catholic Central wide receiver Amari Burney was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’1″, 205 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida, Louisville, Miami, and Wisconsin, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #16 wide receiver, and #120 overall. He’s a thickly built kid who’s a possession type of receiver.

Bradenton (FL) Braden River cornerback Tyrone Collins was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10”, 164 lb. prospect whose lone other offer comes from Boston College and Florida Atlantic, among others. He claims a 4.5 forty. He’s a very slight, quick cover corner with some good playmaking ability, and he’s not afraid of contact, either.

Chicago (IL) Mt. Carmel cornerback Houston Griffith was offered by Michigan when he visited two weekends ago. He’s a 6’0″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Illinois, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #7 cornerback, and #72 overall. Griffith is a physical corner, though his highlights do not necessarily show a guy who’s the #72 overall player in the country. He’s the son of former Illinois and NFL fullback Howard Griffith.

Hit the jump for several other new offers in the class of 2018.

Snellville (GA) Brookwood wide receiver Matthew Hill was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and North Carolina, among others. He claims a 4.44 forty. Hill has good speed and toughness for a wideout, so he’s dangerous after the catch; however, he’s not a very good route runner at this point in his career and needs to improve in that area.

Irvington (NJ) Irvington wide receiver Jasiah Provillon was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 185 lb. prospect with offers from Boston College and Penn State, among others. As a sophomore in 2015, he caught 48 passes for 751 yards and 7 touchdowns. He has played all over the place for his high school team, from wide receiver to defensive end to safety to holder. He could play wide receiver, but I also think he has upside on the defensive side of the ball.

Concord (NC) Concord defensive tackle Rick Sandidge was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 262 lb. prospect with offers from Duke, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, and South Carolina, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #8 defensive tackle, and #50 overall. As a sophomore in 2015, he made 49 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. Big and athletic, he plays defensive end in high school and may be a strongside end going forward, but he will probably move inside to a 3-tech tackle spot.

Monmouth Junction (NJ) South Brunswick wide receiver Justin Shorter was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 210 lb. prospect with offers from Miami, North Carolina, Penn State, Pitt, and Rutgers, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #15 wide receiver, and #116 overall. He’s a lanky wideout with good speed who needs to work on his body control a little bit, but he’s a high-quality target with a lot of upside.

Anderson (SC) Hanna defensive end Stephon Wynn, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 255 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, North Carolina, Penn State, and South Carolina, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #3 strongside end, and #47 overall. As a sophomore in 2015, he made 73 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 4 sacks. He uses his hands very well and might be a defensive tackle when all is said and done, but he has the athleticism to perhaps stay at strongside end. His teammate, 2019 DE Zacch Pickens, was also offered by the Wolverines this past week.
