Happy Monday, everyone! If you wouldn’t mind, please consider helping your trusty ol’ blogging friend here by making a purchase or two (or seventeen!) through the Amazon links (LINK):
Beau Brade – S – Clarksville (MD) River Hill: Brade is a 6’0″, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Maryland, Pitt, and Rutgers, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #53 safety, and #842 overall. He was extended the offer while visiting Ann Arbor a week and a half ago.
Jalin Conyers – TE – Gruver (TX) Gruver: Conyers is a 6’4″, 220-pounder with offers from Baylor, Georgia, and LSU, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #2 tight end, and #215 overall. As a junior in 2018, he caught 61 passes for 1,225 yards and 19 touchdowns. It must not be a great class for tight ends when the #2 guy is at #215 overall.
Hit the jump for more.
TeRah Edwards – OG – Groveport (OH) Madison: Edwards is a 6’4″, 310 lb. prospect with offers from Kentucky, Michigan State, and Northwestern, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #54 offensive guard, and #953 overall.
Caziah Holmes – RB – Cocoa (FL) Cocoa: Holmes is a 5’11”, 179-pounder with offers from Auburn, Florida State, and Miami, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 athlete, and #198 overall. He claims a 4.49 forty, a 4.48 shuttle, and a 38″ vertical. As a junior in 2018, he ran the ball 181 times for 1,196 yards (6.6 YPC) and 15 touchdowns.
Ladarius Tennison – RB – Miami (FL) Rockledge: Tennison is a 5’9″, 193 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Clemson, and Georgia, among others, and he has been committed to Miami since early February. He’s a 3-star, the #39 athlete, and #470 overall. He claims a 4.54 forty and a 4.25 shuttle.
Ryan Watts – CB – Little Elm (TX) Little Elm: Watts is a 6’2″, 187-pounder with offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #30 cornerback, and #339 overall. The crystal ball is 50/50 for Oklahoma and Texas right now. He has a 4.59 forty, a 4.2 shuttle, and a 38″ vertical.
Corey Wren – RB – River Ridge (LA) John Curtis: Wren is a 5’9″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #49 athlete, and #637 overall. Michigan is looking at him potentially to play either slot receiver or running back.
OFF THE BOARD
Golden Achumba – OG – Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha: Achumba committed to Penn State. Michigan was never heavily involved.
Jordan Johnson – WR – St. Louis (MO) DeSmet: Johnson, the #34 overall prospect in 2020, committed to Notre Dame.
Parker McQuarrie – QB – Weare (NH) St. Paul’s: McQuarrie is a 6’7″, 208 lb. guy who’s not particularly mobile, but he committed to Chip Kelly and the UCLA Bruins. It seems like a bit of an odd fit to me, but oh well.
R.J. Mickens – S – Southlake (TX) Carroll: Mickens, the #1 safety in the 2020 class, committed to Clemson. He’s the son of former NFL cornerback Ray Mickens.
Jaden Navarrette – LB – Norco (CA) Norco: Navarrette committed to LSU. If Norco sounds familiar, that’s the alma mater of former Michigan commit Victor Viramontes. I first wrote about Navarrette back in June of 2017 (LINK), so his recruitment has been going on for a while.
Mark Redman – TE – Newport Beach (CA) Corona del Mar: Redman committed to Washington, which had been expected. He had previously visited Michigan for the BBQ at the Big House last summer (LINK).
Anthony Richardson – QB – Gainesville (FL) Eastside: Richardson committed to Florida for the second time. He decommitted in February and was offered by the Wolverines in March.
Lukas Ungar – TE – Morristown (NJ) Delbarton: Ungar committed to Stanford. He’s a 4-star and the #7 tight end in the class.

I like how quickly Beau Brade reads plays, and comes up for the tackle. And I like how he hits! Seems like doing the same at the LB depth would be good for TFL’s. And I know how Don Brown likes havoc in the backfield. So I think he would be a LB at Michigan. He’s 6’00”, 190 as a junior. 190 doesn’t seem big enough for a LB. But Don Brown wants Daxton Hill at Viper, and he weighed 190 as a senior. So…. again, I think Beau Brade would be a LB at Michigan.
