Despite having two separate, storied, long successful programs, the Michigan Wolverines and Georgia Bulldogs have only faced off twice.
The first meeting took place on October 5, 1957, a game which Michigan won 26-0 at home. Michigan quarterback Stan Noskin completed 5/9 passes for 80 yards, but his biggest contribution was when he ran 3 times for 9 yards and 2 touchdowns. Running back Mike Shatusky ran 5 times for 19 yards and 1 touchdown.
The second meeting also took place in Ann Arbor, this one on October 2, 1965. Backup running back Dennis Sirosky ran 5 times for 12 yards and 1 touchdown, the only score for the Wolverines. Quarterback Dick Vidmer threw 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the 15-7 loss.
