I stumbled across this clip from a game between the Raiders and the Lions, which happened to be a battle between my two favorite running backs of all time. Jackson wasn’t on the same level as Sanders and had a career that was too short, but he was really fun to watch.
It’s crazy to see how much the NFL game has changed in the last 20+ years.

People seemed a lot more eager to try to put a hit on Barry than they were Bo.

Ilove watching replays of great running backs-especially Barry.

Barry Sanders had it all — great top-end speed; great balance; great ability to change direction. But the thing that amazes me when watching those videos was how quick his first two steps were. He'd go from 0 to gone in those first two steps.

Barry Sanders — one thing that keeps coming to my mind was the fact that his career was screwed due to being in a bad team. He retired early because he couldn't take the losing culture of the Lions) anymore. I am glad Harbaugh is about to change that in Michigan. A culture of losing can really ruin everyone.

Don't tell Brady Hoke. He's still partying like it's 1997.
